Preparation Method

  • Remove the purple coloured petals and the long bud.
  • Chop the florets and immerse in buttermilk.
  • Par boil toor dhall.
  • Dice the onions finely.
  • Chop the green chillies into thin circles.
  • Cook the florets and drain the water.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil, temper mustard, add onion, green chillies and sauté till translucent.
  • Add the cooked florets, grated coconut, cooked toor dhal, salt and stir well.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
