Preparation Method

  • Add the soya chunks to the boiling water and let it cook for ten minutes.
  • Drain the water and squeeze the chunks and take off the excess water.
  • Add the chunks to the cold water and squeeze the excess water and keep aside.
  • Chop the chunks into two.
  • Grind ginger and garlic to a fine paste.
  • Combine soya chunks with tomato sauce, soya sauce, chilli powder, garam masala powder, corn flour, salt, ginger garlic paste and marinate for thirty minutes.
  • Heat a deep frying pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil and deep fry the chunks till crisp.
  • Serve hot.
