Preparation Method

  • Pressure cook toor dhal with turmeric powder.
  • Chop the onion finely.
  • Peel the skin of snake gourd and chop into small pieces.
  • Split red chillies.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil, temper mustard, curry leaves, chilli, onion, tomato and fry.
  • To this add the cooked dhal, salt and stir well.
  • To this add the snake gourd pieces. If required add some water.
  • When the snake gourd is done, remove from fire and serve.
