Preparation Method

  • Cook the Karunai  kizhangu, peel the skin and cut into circles.
  • Soak tamarind and extract juice.
  • Grind cumin seed , red chilli and shallots.
  • Take the tamarind extract in a vessel.
  • Add turmeric powder, ground masala, salt, Idhayam Sesame Oil to the tamarind extract and allow it to boil.
  • Keep in a low flame.
  • When the Idhayam Sesame Oil leaves the gravy remove from fire and serve hot.
