Preparation Method

  • Chop the drumsticks.
  • Chop the onion, tomatoes and green chillies finely.
  • Grind grated coconut and poppy seed to a fine paste.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper mustard and curry leaves.
  • Saute chopped onion, tomatoes and green chillies.
  • Add the coconut – poppy seed paste and fry well.
  • Add the drumstick and fry for two minutes.
  • Pour required amount of water, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and allow it to boil.
  • When the drumsticks are done and the gravy thickens remove from fire.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
