Preparation Method

  • Knead the dough with a teaspoon of Idhayam Sesame Oil, salt and water.
  • Make small balls.
  • Close with a lid and keep aside.
  • Boil the milk, add sugar, cardamom powder, saffron powder mix well.
  • Pour it in broad bowl and allow it to cool.
  • Place a ball of the dough on a chappati board and roll it to small circles.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed pan with rest of the Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • When the oil becomes hot, drop the pooris into the oil and fry both the sides till golden brown.
  • Drain the pooris and soak it in the milk and serve.
