Preparation Method

  • Slice the bitter gourd into thick circles.
  • Smother with salt and keep aside.
  • In broad bowl, combine maida, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, corn flour, sugar, chilli pwder, garam masala powder, soy sauce and salt.
  • Add little quantity of water and mix it to a thick batter.
  • Add the bitter gourd pieces and marinate for thirty minutes.
  • Heat a deep frying pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Deep fry the bitter gourd till crisp and golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
