Preparation Method

  • Soak the rice over night.
  • Grind the rice with salt to a smooth batter.
  • Boil the water in a vessel.
  • Dilute the ground batter and allow it to boil.
  • When the rice batter is done, fill the murukku mould with the dough and squeeze in a circular motion on a plastic sheet.
  • Let it under sunlight.
  • When dried completely, store and use.
