Preparation Method

  • Soak together rice and urad dhal for three hours.
  • Grind to a fine batter.
  • Grate the coconut and extract milk.
  • Mix together ground batter, salt and cooking soda.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil,take a ladle of the batter and pour into the oil.
  • Don’t heat the oil too much.
  • When the paniyaram floats, remove when the paniyaram is white on both sides.
  • Serve hot.
