Preparation Method


  • Remove the thorny skin and the centre stalk.
  • Chop into small pieces and immerse in butter milk water and keep aside.
  • Slit green chillies.
  • Chop the shallots.
  • Cook the chopped raw jack fruit with salt and turmeric powder.
  • Drain the water.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper mustard and urad dhal.
  • Saute shallots, green chillies and curry leaves.
  • To this add the cooked raw jack fruit and stir well for five minutes.
  • Sprinkle the scraped coconut stir fry.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
