Preparation Method

  • Peel the skin and chop the bananas to long pieces.
  • Dice the onion and tomatoes.
  • Chop ginger, green chillies and garlic finely.
  • Grind together grated coconut, fennel and red chilli.
  • Heat a pan with two tablespoon of Idhayam sesame oil.
  • When it becomes hot add the raw banana pieces and fry well.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Heat another pan with rest of the Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper mustard, when add cumin seed.
  • Saute onion, garlic, ginger, green chilli and fry well.
  • Toss the tomatoes, add the ground masala and fry.
  • Add the raw banana, salt, stir well.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
