Preparation Method

  • Soak rice and urad dhal separately.
  • Grind it to a thick batter.
  • Mix together along with salt.
  • Grate the coconut.
  • Chop the onion, green chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves finely.
  • Heat a pan with a tablespoon of Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Temper mustard.When it splutters, add urad dhal, onion, curry leaves and fry.
  • Add this to the dosa batter.
  • Mix the coriander leaves to the batter without frying.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Take a ladle of the batter; pour it to the oil and deep fry till crisp and brown.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
