Preparation Method

  • Marinate the chicken with chilli powder and salt for about an hour.
  • Dice the onion and tomatoes.
  • Pound the fennel and pepper corn.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper cinnamon, bay leaf and clove.
  • Saute garlic.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry.
  • Saute onion, tomatoes and fry well.
  • Flip the chicken pieces, simmer to a low flame and fry for ten minutes.
  • Add half of the fennel – pepper powder, stir and close with a lid for five minutes.
  • Add coriander powder, remaining fennel – pepper powder and fry.
  • Pour the coconut extract and allow it to boil.
  • When the chicken is done and the gravy thickens, remove from fire and serve.
