Preparation Method

  • Par boil potatoes. Peel the skin and dice into big chunks.
  • Chop the shallots.
  • Grind the ginger, garlic, cinnamon, clove and fennel.
  • Marinate the potatoes with the ground masala, kashmiri chilli powder, lemon juice, salt and turmeric powder for about 20 minutes.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Saute shallots and curry leaves.
  • Simmer it to a low flame.
  • Add the marinated potatoes and fry until it turns red.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
