Preparation Method

  • Boil 800 ml of water in a pan.
  • Add the semiya and the kesari colour powder.
  • When the semiya is done, strain it.
  • Heat a pan with a tablespoon of ghee, when it becomes hot, add cashew nuts and  raisins. Fry  and keep aside.
  • Heat another pan with rest of the ghee.
  • Add the cooked semiya, sugar, cardamom powder, fried cashew nuts and  raisins.
  • Stir well and serve hot.
