Preparation Method

  • Soak the rice overnight. Drain the water and pound it without water.
  • Grate the coconut and extract 250 ml of milk.
  • Roast almond,cashew nuts in ghee and keep aside.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed pan with 200 ml of water.
  • Add sugar and allow it to boil. When it comes to a single string consistency, add the rice flour little by little and mix well.
  • Pour the coconut extract and stir.
  • When it thickens, add the ghee cashew nut, almond and cardamom powder.
  • When the ghee separates from the halwa, remove from fire and serve.
