Preparation Method

  • Chop the mangoes lengthwise.
  • Slit green chillies.
  • Heat a pan with ghee.
  • Temper mustard, add green chillies and fry.
  • Add the chopped mango pieces, two cups of water and allow it to boil.
  • Add the powdered jaggery and stir well.
  • When the mangoes are done and the jaggery dissolves completely, add salt and let it cook till it thickens.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
