Preparation Method

  • Dry roast the moong dhal and keep aside.
  • Chop the cashew nuts into tiny pieces.
  • Roast the cashew nuts in ghee.
  • Pound the jaggery.
  • Boil 600 ml of water in a pan.
  • Add raw rice and moong dhal.
  • When the rice and the moong dhal is cooked, add the jaggery and stir.
  • Add the roasted cashew nuts, cardamom powder, grated coconut, rest of the ghee. stir well.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
