Preparation Method

  • Soak rice for fifteen minutes.
  • Dice the ginger and green chillies finely.
  • Grind rice and grated coconut .
  • Mix together ground coconut - rice paste, buttermilk, few amount of water, asafoetida, curry leaves, Idhayam sesame oil, green chillies, ginger and salt.
  • Heat the pan until it become thick, to this add ghee and stir well.
  • Grease a plate with ghee and pour the rice mixture.
  • Allow it to cool and serve.
