Preparation Method

  • Dry roast poppy seed and allow it to cool.
  • Grind together poppy seed and grated dried coconut, almond and cardamom powder.
  • (Pound it then add water and grind to a fine paste.)
  • Take a cup of water in a bowl.
  • Add the powdered jaggery and stir until everything dissolves.
  • Drain and keep aside.
  • Pour in a pan and heat it.
  • Add the ground coconut paste. Simmer to a low flame and let it for five minutes.
  • Roast cashew nut and raisins in ghee and add it.
  • Pour the milk; allow it to boil for a minute.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
