Preparation Method

  • In a broad bowl, take maida, salt, a teaspoon of ghee, butter and cooking soda.
  • Add required amount of water and knead it to a smooth dough.
  • Place in an airtight container.

     Preparation method for making the minced meat masala

  • Cook minced meat and keep aside.
  • Dice the onion and green chillies finely.
  • Heat a pan with 2 teaspoon of Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Temper cumin seed.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry well.
  • Sauté onion and green chillies.
  • To this, add the minced mutton and fry for five minutes.
  • Add chilli powder, garam masala powder, curd, turmeric powder, salt and fry.
  • Remove from fire and keep aside.
  • Make small balls out of the dough.
  • Place it on the board and roll it.
  • Place a tablespoon of the minced mutton and roll it lengthwise.
  • Stick the sides.
  • Make such lukhmi with rest of the dough and keep aside.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Flip the lukhmi into oil and deep fry till golden brown.
