Preparation Method

  • Soak the tamarind and extract the juice.
  • Mix together salt and jaggery along with the tamarind extract.
  • Chop the green chillies finely and add it to the tamarind extract and stir well.
  • Add coriander leaves and curry leaves.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Temper mustard, add the tamarind extract, mix well and allow it to boil for thirty minutes.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
