Preparation Method

  • Wash the gongura leaves and keep aside.
  • Dice the onion.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper  mustard, fenugreek and asafoetida.
  • Heat another pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Saute onion, coriander seed, green chilli and the gongura leaves.
  • Fry well.
  • Grind together the roasted spices and the gongura leaves mixture along with salt.
  • Heat rest of the Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper rest of the mustard, crushed garlic and the ground gongura chutney.
  • Fry well and serve.
