Preparation Method

  • Pressure cook the minced mutton with turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt and required amount of water.
  • Dice onion and green chillies.
  • Fry the minced mutton until all the water is absorbed.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil when it becomes hot temper cinnamon, clove, cardamom and fry.
  • Add the chana dhal and fry till golden brown.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Add the ginger, garlic, green chilli, minced mutton and grind it coarsely.
  • Pound coriander seed, cumin seed and add it to the ground minced mutton.
  • Make into small balls and keep aside.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil when it becomes hot, flip the mutton balls and fry till golden brown and serve.
