Preparation Method

  • Soak the green gram for three hours.
  • Grind together green gram, green chillies, ginger and salt to a thick batter.
  • Make small balls out of the batter.
  • Place it on a plastic sheet and pat it to thin circles.
  • Make a hole at the centre.
  • Heat a  pan with Idhayam sesame oil, when it becomes hot flip the vada and fry till crisp and golden brown and serve.
