Preparation Method

  • In a broad bowl take rice flour, gram flour, sesame seed, chilli powder, Ajwain, melted ghee, salt and required amount of water.
  • Knead it to a semi tight dough.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Fill the murukku mould with the dough.
  • Squeeze it directly to the oil and deep fry till golden brown.
  • Make such janthikalu with rest of dough and serve.
