Preparation Method

  • Rinse the fish and keep aside.
  • Grind together tomatoes, onion, ginger, garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder to a fine paste.
  • Chop the potatoes to small pieces.
  • Heat a pan with 200 ml of Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Flip the fishes and fry till golden brown.
  • Remove from fire and allow it to cool.
  • Apply turmeric powder and salt to the fishes.
  • Heat a pan with 100 ml of Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Add the ground masala and fry till the raw smell goes.
  • To this add the potatoes and fry.
  • Add chilli powder required amount of water and bring to boil.
  • Cook until the gravy thickens.
  • Add the fried fishes, stir well.
  • Remove from fire and serve with hot steamed rice.
