Preparation Method

  • Combine chicken pieces, coriander powder, turmeric powder garam masala powder, curd and salt.
  • Mix well and marinate the chicken for two hours.
  • Dice the onion.
  • Grind the cashew nut.
  • Grind together, green chillies, coriander leaves, fennel and pepper.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Temper cinnamon cardamom, clove and bay leaf.
  • Saute onion and curry leaves.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry well.
  • To this add the marinated chicken and fry for ten minutes.
  • Add required amount of water.
  • Add salt, ground masala, chilli powder and fry well.
  • When the chicken is done, add the cashew nut paste.
  • Allow it to boil for three minutes.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
