Preparation Method

  • Shell the kernels from the corn cob.
  • Placing the weight, pressure cook the corn kernels with six cup of water and salt.
  • When the cooker whistles, simmer to a low flame for fifteen minutes.
  • Remove from fire.
  • Dice the carrots finely.
  • Mix the corn flour in water.
  • Pour the diluted corn flour to the cooked corn kernel mixture.
  • To this add sugar, aji-no-motto, vinegar and white pepper powder.
  • Reheat  the corn flour mixture and allow it to boil for ten minutes.
  • Add chopped carrots and let it boil for three more minutes.
  • Adjust salt.
  • Remove from fire and serve in soup bowl.
  • *If the soup is too watery,pour more of corn flour mixture.
