Preparation Method

  • Cook rice and keep aside.
  • Chop garlic.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil. saute garlic until red and keep aside.
  • Boil the chicken stock.
  • To this add cooked rice, galangal, salt, pepper powder and let it boil for ten more minutes.
  • Add celery and fish sauce and stir.
  • Add spring onion, bulb of spring onion, coriander leaves, chilli vinegar, fried garlic and stir well.
  • Remove from fire and serve in soup bowl.
  • Fish sauce contains salt, Add salt if required.
For Chilli Vinegar
  • Finely chop green chilli and red chilli.
  • Mix together cider vinegar and chilli vinegar.
  • If desired can use with rice soup.
