Urad dhal 200 gms
Rice flour 2 teaspoon
Pepper corn 1 teaspoon
Asafoetida ½ teaspoon
Salt as required
Idhayam Sesame Oil 500 ml
Preparation Method
Soak the urad dhal for thirty minutes and drain the water completely.
Grind the urad dhal coarsely along with asafoetida without adding water.
Pound the pepper corns coarsely.
Add the rice flour, salt and the pound pepper and mix well, grease a polythene sheet with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
Take a medium size ball of the urad dhal batter.
Place it on the polythene sheet and pat it to a thin circle.
Make a hole in the centre.
Heat a deep frying pan with Idhayam sesame oil, when it become hot, deep fry the milagu vadai until crisp and brown.
Serve hot.
