Preparation Method

  • Soak the basmati rice for ten minutes.
  • Chop the onions finely and lengthwise.
  • Slit green chillies.
  • Dice Potatoes, Beans and carrots.
  • Heat Idhayam Sesame Oil in a pan. 
  • Temper cinnamon, cloves, onion and green chillies.
  • Add the vegetables, peas and stir.
  • Pour a litre of water, salt and stir.
  • Allow it to boil.
  • Add the rice close with a lid.
  • When the rice is done add ghee and coriander leaves.
  • Mix and serve hot.
