Preparation Method

  • Wash and take the prawns in a bowl.
  • Grind ginger and garlic.
  • Grind together cinnamon, coriander powder, poppy seed, clove, chilli powder, cardamom, grated coconut and mix it with the ginger garlic paste.
  • Dice the onions finely.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Saute onion till translucent.
  • Add the ground masala and fry well.
  • Add the prawns, salt, turmeric powder and simmer it to a low flame.
  • Pour required amount of water and allow it to boil.
  • When it comes to a gravy consistency.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
