Preparation Method

  • Mix turmeric powder to the prawns and keep aside.
  • Mash ginger, garlic, coriander leaves and green chillies.
  • Chop the onions finely.
  • Dice the tomatoes into four.
  • Grind cumin  powder, coriander powder and shallots to a fine paste.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil, add the mashed ginger, garlic, coriander leaves and green chillies.
  • Saute onion and tomatoes.
  • Add the ground masala and fry until the raw smell goes.
  • Pour the coconut milk, add salt, turmeric powder and stir.
  • Add the prawns and let it boil.
  • When the prawn is done and the gravy thickens remove from fire and serve hot.
