Preparation Method

  • Pressure cook the potatoes. Peel the skin.
  • Add salt and mash well.
  • Peel the skin of the snake gourd. Chop it finely.
  • Par boil the snake gourd.
  • Dry roast the rice and pound it coarsely.
  • Chop the onion, green chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves finely.
  • Mix together mashed potatoes, steamed snake gourd, chopped onion, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, cumin seed, salt, pound rice flour and roasted chana dhal flour.
  • Heat a deep frying pan with Idhayam Sesame  Oil, grease your palm with oil.
  • Take a ball of the batter, slightly flatten it, deep fry  till crisp and brown.
  • Serve hot.
