Preparation Method

  • Take red and ripe tomatoes.
  • Chop into four.
  • Grind the tomatoes and ginger.
  • Crush the garlic.
  • Soak tamarind and extract the juice.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam  Sesame Oil, temper mustard ,add asafoetida, garlic and fry well.
  • Add the ground tomatoes, chilli powder, tamarind extract, salt and fry well.
  • Fry until the oil separates from the gravy.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Store in an airtight container.
