Green chilli 200 gms
Shallots 200 gms
Curry Leaves 1 sprig
Tamarind 1 lemon sized
Mustard seed 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
Salt as required
Idhayam Sesame Oil 100 ml
Preparation Method
Chop the green chillies to fine circles.
Dice the shallots finely.
Soak the tamarind and extract the juice.
Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil, temper mustard and add curry leaves.
Saute onion and green chillies.
Add the tamarind extract, salt turmeric powder and stir well.
Simmer to a low flame.
When the gravy thickens, remove from fire.
Can be used as pickle.
