Preparation Method

  • Dice the paneer into cubes.
  • Grind together onion, garlic, red chilli, tomato,3 tablespoon of grated coconut, cardamom, coriander powder, chilli powder, clove, poppy seed and ginger to a fine paste.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed pan with butter, when it starts to melt, add the Idhayam sesame oil.
  • When it becomes hot add the ground masala and fry till the raw smell goes.
  • Add curd and salt.
  • Stir well.
  • When the oil leaves the sides of the gravy flip the paneer pieces and fry for three minutes.
  • Allow it to boil.
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves and remove from fire.
  • Serve it along with chapati or parotta.
