Preparation Method

  • Cook the brinjals over direct flame and peel the skin.
  • Dice the onion finely.
  • Chop the tomatoes finely, lengthwise.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Saute onion.
  • Add chilli powder and turmeric powder and fry for a minute.
  • To this add tomatoes and fry well.
  • Add salt.
  • Flip the brinjal and fry well.
  • Add aamchur powder and fry till crisp.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot with rice or rasam rice.
