Preparation Method

  • Cook toor dhal along with turmeric powder.
  • Chop the ladies finger into thin circles.
  • Dice the onion.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Deep fry the ladies finger.
  • Heat another pan with a tablespoon of Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Temper mustard. When it splutters, add split red chillies, onion and curry leaves.
  • Pour it to the dhal.
  • Add salt.
  • Flip the fried ladies finger to this dhal. Stir well and serve.
