Preparation Method

  • Marinate the chicken pieces with curd and salt for thirty minutes.
  • Chop the onion.
  • Blanch the tomatoes in hot water, grind it and strain.
  • Grind together coriander powder, turmeric powder and maze powder.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry.
  • Saute onion until it turns red.
  • Allow it to cool and grind it.
  • Heat a pan with rest of the Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • When it becomes hot, add the ground onion paste.
  • To this add the ground masala and fry till raw smell goes.
  • Pour the tomato puree along with salt.
  • Flip the chicken pieces and stir.
  • If required add water.
  • When the chicken is done and the gravy thickens, remove from fire,garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
