Preparation Method

  • Soak rice, drain water completely and pound it.
  • Crack the eggs and beat well.
  • Grate the coconut and extract milk.
  • Add egg, coconut milk, maida, sugar and mix well to the consistency of dosa batter.
  • Heat a broad pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Dip the achu murukku mould inside the hot oil and let it for five minutes.
  • Immerse ¾ of the mould to the batter and let  the mould inside the hot oil.
  • When the achu murukku is half done it will come out of the mould.
  • Fry it and serve.
