Preparation Method

  • Soak together rice, dhal varieties for two hours.
  • Grind together, fennel, chilli powder and salt to a coarse batter.
  • Chop the mushrooms into two.
  • Grate the carrot.
  • Chop the onion, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
  • Combine ground batter, mushroom, grated carrot, curry leaves,coriander leaves, onion and mix well.
  • Heat a dosa pan, take a ladle of the batter, and spread on circular motion.
  • Drizzle Idhayam Sesame Oil to the sides of the adai.
  • Fry the adai on both the sides till crisp and brown.
  • Make such adai with rest of the batter.
  • Serve hot.
