Preparation Method

  • Soak raw rice, par boiled rice, urad dhal for four hours.
  • Grind together with salt and allow it to ferment over night.
  • Add cooking soda, colour powder and mix well.
  • Heat a dosa pan, when it becomes hot, take a ladle of the batter and pour it over the pan to form a thick dosa.
  • Add Idhayam Sesame Oil to the edges of the dosa when it becomes golden brown.
  • Flip over.
  • When the dosa is done remove from fire and serve hot.
