Preparation Method

  • Soak the china grass in a cup of water.
  • Dice the apples.
  • Dissolve a cup of sugar in water.
  • Pound rest of the sugar finely.
  • Chop the dates finely.
  • Boil the sugared water to a single sprig consistency.
  • To this add the chopped apples, orange pulps and allow it to cook.
  • When the fruits are done, add the chopped dates.
  • In a bowl, mix together condensed milk, the pound sugar and let it aside for an hour.
  • To this add milk, simmer to a low flame, don’t let it boil.
  • Stir well, remove from fire and keep aside.
  • In another pan, add china grass mixture and simmer to a low flame.
  • Stir quickly with a wired whisk, so that no lumps are formed.
  • Remove from fire and keep aside.
  • Pour the condensed milk mixture over the china grass.
  • Let it aside for twenty minutes.
  • Spread the pineapple pieces in a broad bowl.
  • Add the sugar syrup along with the fruits.
  • Refrigerate and serve chilled.
