Preparation Method

  • Soak the mushrooms with a pinch of salt and a drop of lime for a minute and wash it.
  • Chop the onions lengthwise.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil and ghee.
  • Saute onions, green chillies and mushrooms.
  • Add curd, ginger-garlic paste and fry well.
  • To this add mint leaves and fry.
  • Pour two cups of water and add salt..
  • Bring water to boil, add rice stir well and close with a lid.
  • When the rice is done, add garam masala, ghee and stir carefully without damaging the rice.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
