Preparation Method

  • Hand boil the eggs, shell them and slit to the slides
  • Chop the onion and tomatoes lengthwise finely.
  • Slit the green chillies.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper with cinnamon, cloves and black cardamom.
  • Saute onion, tomato, green chillies, mint leaves.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and fry for two minutes.
  • Add two cups of water, coconut extract and allow it to boil.
  • Add salt, rice and close with a lid.
  • Simmer to a low flame and let it for fifteen to twenty minutes.
  • Add the hard boiled eggs.
  • Stir carefully remove from fire and serve hot.
