The cod in a spicy yogurt crust is extremely delicious and appetizing. This dish is filled with fresh mint, ground cumin, coriander seeds, haddock steaks, natural yogurt, dried dill and special flavorings. With spicy ingredients, every piece provokes you its perfect aroma and taste.

Preparation Method :

  • First make the marinade mixture.
  • Put the mint, onion, garlic, paprika, coriander, cumin, dill and yogurt in a blender or food processor and process until a thick paste is formed.
  • Season the mixture to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Place the fish in a single layer in a shallow dish.
  • Spread the paste all over the top of the fish and leave in a cool place to marinate for 2-3 hours.
  • Cook under a hot grill, hasting occasionally, until the fish is cooked and the yogurt mixture has formed a crust.
  • Serve straight away with rice and chutney, accompanied by a green salad.


  • 15 ml chopped fresh mint
  • ½ medium onion, or 1 large spring onions, skinned and roughly chopped
  • 1 garlic cloves, skinned and crushed
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 15 ml coriander seeds
  • 5 ml ground cumin
  • 5 ml dried dill
  • 100 grams natural yogurt
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 thick cod or haddock steaks or fillets
