PORK SAUSAGES WITH BEANS & TOMATO SAUCE

30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a heavy-bottomed pan, preferably earthenware, and sauté the garlic and sage until softened, 5 minutes. Add the beans and cook for a few minutes so that they absorb the seasoning.
  • Add the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Prick the sausages with a fork and add to the beans. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for about 25 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve hot

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 ml sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 6 leaves sage
  • 500 grams cannellini or white kidney beans, drained
  • 750 grams tomatoes, peeled and diced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 10 highly-flavored pork sausages
