RIZOGALO - RICE PUDDING

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
50 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Combine rice and water and bring it boil.
  • Simmer for 15 minutes until the liquid is absorbed by rice.
  • Gently stir in the milk and simmer for another 30 minutes (stirring occasionally).
  • Now add the corn flour paste and cook until the mixture thickens.
  • Finally add the sugar and vanilla extract. Stir it well and remove from the heat.
  • Pour it in the serving bowl and garnish with lemon rind.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and serve it immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams uncooked Rice
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 250 ml Water
  • 1 litre Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Flour (dissolved with 2 tablespoon water)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
  • Lemon rind for garnishing
